Gorilla Punch spent all of 2008 writing
songs for their first full length release. Pre-production recording
started in October 2008. In January 2009 they went to Doug White at
Watchmen Studios (Gym Class Heros,Brutal Truth) to record. Doug White
commented " I haven't heard a singer like Dennis in a long time. He's a
natural." Titled NO SOUND after the second track is modern rock
dripping with emotion. Off to mastering with Dave St. Onge (Cold, Goo
Goo Dolls, Tragically Hip) the first song Get it Back has over 21,000
plays in just over two weeks on the bands MySpace.com/gorillapunch
page. And a teaser track of song samples hit 14,000 plays in the same
time frame. The CD NO SOUND is scheduled for release in May 2009 and
available thru all popular Internet sale sites.
